Why The World Needs Anthropologists

Anthropology has come a long way since the days of “salvage ethnology” to preserve dying cultures.  Today’s Applied Anthropologists work in every conceivable field where understanding how human beings interact with each other and their environments is useful – from community development, education, and marketing to health, climate impact and disaster aid.  Marilyn Kelch will lead a discussion of the contributions and challenges of Applied Anthropology. Inquiring Minds welcomes retired Rollins College professor, Marilyn Kelch.
