In Unitarian Universalism, we have a legacy of "deeds, not creeds." As the majority of our UU principles pertain to social justice and environmental issues, Unitarian Universalists endeavor to put them into action, practicing them in our daily lives. Our Social Action Committee meets monthly to plan ongoing and new activities.

UUUS is involved with several charitable organizations through ongoing food, clothing and toy drives, our Share the Plate program and other programs. Through Share the Plate, we donate 40% of the Sunday plate offering to a different group each month, including:

Collection box will be in sanctuary through the end of July. Supplies will be distributed to families in need through H.O.P.E. of Oviedo, one of our Share the Plate partners.
