We talk a lot about family this time of year. Families come in all shapes and sizes and makeups: blood, merged, adopted, chosen, even church families. But how do we define family? Our definitions show how we decide who belongs in our families and who doesn’t. As we’re called to draw the circle wider, we may find new family who can challenge and champion us.
