“Pearls of Wisdom: Olympia Brown”
with Rev Tracie Barrett
Olympia Brown, a name synonymous with resilience and unwavering commitment, emerged as a prominent suffragist and minister in a time when women’s voices were often muffled. Raised Unitarian, she is the first woman to be ordained as a minister in the US, shattering barriers and became a beacon of hope for marginalized individuals seeking a voice. Rev Tracie will reflect on her journey, honoring her pioneering efforts that continue to inspire generations, reminding us that every voice, regardless of gender or background, possesses the power to create ripples of change.
