“Aesthetics in Virtual Reality” (Part 3)
As we continue our series on Aesthetics, this Sunday we will explore Virtual Reality and how this new experience provides many opportunities, but also affects our ontological view of the world. Some sample benefits are: general learning, job training, and meeting people around the world. Some changes in ontology (the nature of being) include: activities that are physically impossible for our human bodies. Also, how can we define ‘safe’ when this technology is complex and fast-changing? If we have time, we will also discuss how VR experiences can change our identity. Please join StoicDan and Candace this Sunday for “Aesthetics in Virtual Reality”.
