Philosophy: Learning and Fulfillment
Following last week’s topic on philosophy and learning, this week we’ll discuss how human learning can lead to fulfillment. Why is this a part of human nature? And how can we understand it better? Using the recommended articles from Verywell and The Atlantic, we will explore how science and philosophy view this fascinating area of thought from different points of view.
We will also connect the discussion to Humanism, which asserts that learned values can be linked to our responsibilities of living in a larger community. How does our value system and sense of identity affect the learning process and our role in society? Please join StoicDan and Joe Bullock this Sunday for “Philosophy: Learning and Fulfillment”. We hope you’ll read the following material and bring a friend to the discussion. Hope to see you there!
Reading Material (optional)
