Skepticism in Rhetoric: Logical Fallacies

Continuing our series on Skepticism, this week we will explore Rhetoric and how to cast a skeptical eye (or ear!) to recognize logical fallacies. The modern world uses technology to push a river of ads and messages, so learning how to spot logical fallacies is important for our focus and mindfulness. We’ll also travel back in time to rediscover some influential thinkers on rhetoric: Plato and Aristotle (300s BC), Erasmus (1500s), Francis Bacon (1600s), and Marshall McLuhan (1900s). Please join StoicDan for this fascinating new lecture.
