Dear Gardeners,
You are invited to join us this Wednesday evening at Ann & Bob Flick's place
in Winter Park for a Terrarium Building Party!:-) We will start at 6:30pm
and carpooling is *strongly encouraged*, so if you want a ride or have one
to offer, please let me know ASAP.
Although these are miniature gardens, there is a LOT that can be learned
about gardening by making them. This would be a great way for children to
start learning a skill that they will most likely find much more useful and
necessary than previous generations have. For more information you can go
to How to Make a Terrarium<http://www.ehow.com/video_9374_make-terrarium.html>
.
You do not have to bring anything except a will to learn about Terrariums.
But if you can bring along a small bag of Potting Soil or anything mentioned
in the tutorial above, it would be greatly appreciated. We have some vases
that you are welcome to use or come with a container of your own choice.
Ann said that she has all sorts of different plants that are good for
Terrariums.

Best Regards
