Mark Yount "Uncommanded Faith"
Mark returns this morning to share from his experiences. Mark taught philosophy for 12 years after receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado. This topic is a working title for his book in progress based on presentations to his UU church in Jacksonville. He argues for a broad conception of faith not based on the commandments of scripture or an institutional authority.

Melanie Hill "The Way of the Explorer- An Unending Journey in Spirituality"

Rev. Mark Spivey "God at the Movies" Part 2
Rev. Spivey is a thanatologist with dual Master’s degrees in Clinical Social Work and Theology. He serves Hospice of Volusia-Flagler as a Spiritual Care Counselor. He continues the presentation from February highlighting the cinematic renderings of what we look for in a God.
March 23rd
Harry Coverston "Confessions of a Religious Quester"
Harry is an instructor at UCF in the Philosophy department teaching humanities, religion and philosophy of law. He has a Masters of Divinity from the Episcopal seminary in Berkeley and a Ph.D. in religion, law and society from FSU. He also has a JD from UF and considers himself a ‘recovering lawyer’ and sometimes active priest. Easter Sunday
March 30th
Joe DeRocher "The Death Penalty in Florida"
An attorney since 1967, Joe served as Public Defender of the 9th Judicial Circuit for 21 years. He received the Footsoldier of the Constitution award from the Orange County Bar Association. Now adjunct professor at UCF and Barry University, he remains active in the fields of human rights, law and ecology. UU Social Justice Sunday
