An experienced meditator, Peter founded the Orlando Insight Meditation Group. He brings a synergy between ancient Eastern wisdom and modern psychological research to his private  practice in Maitland and to his presentation to UUUS.

June 8   Rev Mark Spivey   "What a Difference a Gay Makes"
Gay men and lesbian women can claim a rich history. This talk explores the contributions of some of the most influential thinkers, musicians, military leaders, politicians and artists in creating the contemporary gay culture.

June 15   Tom Cook  "The Known, The Unknown and the Unknowable"
Rollins philosophy professor Tom Cook  returns to address science, ignorance and mystery and how they relate to us mortals and our spiritual aspirations.

June 22   Doug Halper  "Ahhh  the Life- Living in Bliss"
Doug is a Warner Bros recording artist and has been touring the US for 7 years. He was named the Multi-Instrumentalist of the Year by the Songwriters Showcase of America in 2004. He weaves his life experiences with his music to tell his story of spiritual quest.

June 29   Alan Nordstrom  "The Spirituality of Creativity"
An  English professor at Rollins,  Alan returns to present his latest explorations into the frontier of ideas. He invites us to tune into his most recent poetic works on his blog, see "General" under resources.htm#links.
