Ghostwalk
by Rebecca Stott
History, mystery and ghostly airs. It's all wound up in 17th C. times and contemporary Cambridge.
A rather strange murder of a sort of strange author (Elizabeth V.) who is writing about Isaac Newton and using a
controversial text about Newton and who was supposedly dabbling in alchemy. The author is drawn to suspicious
deaths from the 17th C. around Cambridge's Trinity College. Are the deaths connected, then and now? Our heroine
steps in here after Elizabeth's untimely demise and is asked to complete the text, (Lydia).
As Lydia becomes immersed in the writings and research of the murdered author she discovers missing papers,
an odd assortment of people and experiences flickering lights the dance along the walls.
This novel maintains a gothic undertone as it proceeds along its 'Ghostwalk'.
Lydia has time tho for romance too...to bad he's married. Stott's last work was on Darwin and this is her 1st novel.
She is a historian of science at Anglia Ruskin U. in England.
